Half of Calderdale seem to know. Was on a Stag Do last Thursday and half of them knew. Also, I was told by someone at a recent Fax Trust meeting that it was discussed there. So Fax Trust may have already done the digging?

Love that comment. You are very selective with your opinions. Love it.

You THINK you know me but you plainly don't, I would never betray my employer unlike some folk. Please do not even try Bubba okay?
You have to ask how do those you mention actually know then???
SOMEBODY has a big mouth and like I said betrayed their position of trust.
As for the fax Trust I am not involved with them anymore.

No doubt when the stand's built Town will be moaning that's somehow wrecked the pitch too and ruining their free flowing passing game!

More selective opinions. Love it

You are worse than Michael Martin MP. More bothered about how it has been leaked than the actual issue in question.

bubba. Stop being so cringey. You are merely trying to upset a happy applecart with your inside knowledge vitriol. If its true, its true. But i won't hold my breath for the pontification of a sad axe grinder.

Bubba,
If true perhaps we should just fold and reform as Rugby Club Halifax. Then we can get away with not paying as many bills as we like.
When Halifax Town or whatever you are called these days goes a few years without failing to pay a bill then you can come on here and moan about HRLFC.

I think a similar topic was going around at the same time last year and the year before. Last year the rent was paid when we got our first instalment from our main sponsor and i would have thought a similar agreement would be in place this year. So yes we may or may not have paid our rent, but it will get paid. I think it is wrong of people to band around rumour, when the full details are not known.

Anyway back on topic, i do hope when the stadium is completed we get a man in charge that can maintain the ground. At present the up keep of the ground is none existant to say the least, it doesnt cost alot to clear the guttering out on the stand so that you dont have to walk through a curtain of water getting into the skircoat, these are just small things that seem to be over looked, do the people down at the shay walk round with their eyes closed? I like many hope when the ground gets finished it remain a ground to be proud of and not left to crumble as is currently the situation

Nat, I am the biggest critic of what happened with Halifax Town AFC, hence why I am such a big supporter of the supporters' trust movement, so you wont be getting a bite from me.

Spot on mate, I think we the fans of both clubs should start probing to see why things are not getting done as surely there is a Health & Safety check and a stadium standard that has to be done - I am certain it comes under the ground certificate so why is the Shay been allowed to get away with it??
This was the reason we had all that cr&p when we were still up at Thrum Hall.

Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity

Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

Or better still if these things are potentially a problem to your relationship with the controlling organisation a ' volunteer ' day were fans of both clubs turn up once a month to do basic maintenance / cleaning work on the ground

Many hands make light work is the saying is it not

As some of you might or might not know I have made the ' odd ' decision on ground ' issues ' at Leigh
