Are you serious?
You're asking a bloke with A levels that question?
It doesn't take a genius to know the answer.

Re: Replacing the legend Gannon : Mon Aug 13, 2012 6:57 pm
When Carol (my wife) and I were at School we were absolutely convinced he was. He was a very nerdy looking soul with that droneful boring monotone that became his trademark over the years. He had a friend who was a girl but didn't have a "girlfriend"!
In 2002 he suggested in the press that when he was at school he used to go to the pubs of wath and wentorth (the same places carol and I used to go) and used to sup 15 pints a day!!!! Icannot ever recall seeing him ever in those boozers!
He married Fffffffffffffion in the late 80's. A bit of a sloan i Fffffffffion that wouldn't have looked at him if he sold jumpers on Rovrum market.
Gay?? Dunno. Not really bothered be honest. I'm bothered if he's a nice bloke or a git (don't want to test the swear filter). I'm bothered that as a politician he properly represents the nation (I'm a raging left wing pinko- so it bothers me ). But whether he wears a baseball cap and looks a bit of a cock, or what his preferences are, to be honest doesn't really affect my life. That's entirely his business for me.

And Behold, a pale horse. And on his back his name was death.

No he's not, I should know.
Seriously he has a beautiful wife.
He was Prime Minister before his time but is an excellent Foreign Minister.
I don't think he would want to be Prime Minister again, besides that's going to be Boris.
This summer has repaired all of Labour's damage.
And besides he can drink 10 pints and he wears a baseball hat.

Yes it's true folks, I have phoned Wath Grammar School and they verify everything Robin has said concerning his school days.

As regards William Hague when Robin first joined the forum and saw the "PM" button he thought it would get him in touch with his old school pal.

They did mention that maths was not his strongest subject with the strange habit of always using a 5 instead of a 6.

On the odd occasion when he mastered that problem for some reason he deducted 10 off of the final total.

He did get to "A" level but declined to say what level that was.

FAILURE ISN'T ABOUT FALLING DOWN, FAILURE IS STAYING DOWN..........

Re: Replacing the legend Gannon : Mon Aug 13, 2012 10:21 pm
Christ almighty 5 pages of blabbering claptrap Gay Hague, RFF, HXJonnyboy, 15 pints, Steve Crossley ( best prop I've seen against Fax this season, I wish we could have him onboard next season & beyond ) in a thread about replacing Jim Gannon !
He's irreplaceable right now, he is sooo consistent, there's only Ambler & Barlow who offer more in the pack without being disrespectful to any of our forwards in any way 'cos every player has their strengths & weaknesses but consistency & reliability are very difficult to come by. Fitness, dedication, adaptability & experience have served Jimbo well this season, he's been a rock for us this year. Ambler hasn't been with us all year & Sam missed the start of the season as opposed to Jim who had been placed on the scrapheap but refused to accept it thankfully.

What's that I read in the Leaguer today about Fev's Mark Campbell approaching someone or other with a view to buying out Bradford Bulls & keeping his Fev fantasy alive ? Back door merger into SL...........

Good grief , I thought my memory was bad but I don`t ever remember William Hague being Prime Minister, he was leader of the opposition wasn`t he? The debate re` his age is a hard one as I remember as a 15 yr old when he stood and made a speach at a Party Conferance and he looked 51 then so he must have had a bad paper round too.

Can't argue with that MM, in defence he is like the proverbial brick s####house wall.
Carry's the ball forward time and again and when the going gets tough first in line is Jimbo.
