It doesnt hurt at all .... what went on before means nothing now as disco des has left us nearly 1/2 million in debt. so much for buying sucess eh ?
We supporters and the new BOD know it needs money throwing at it not only the floodlights but other aspects of the ground as well. With the new toilets and kitchens built before the start of last season on the popular side a start has been made. it will be a long road but the club is giving it its best shot. Maybe we should sell it and move to a souless all plastic seater stadium on the outskirts of town....errr no ta, I will carry on watching RL being played in a traditional type ground (unless its a night game in which case we wont be able to see anything...lol).
Look forward to coming to the Shay .... a great ground that the Raiders can only aspire to!

Craven Park may not be the 'smartest' ground in the league, but it is one I am looking forward to visiting again next year, I really missed the trips to Cumbria last year, so much so some of us took in the Barrow v Haven game towards the end of the season.
The fans really copped for the brown end of the stick up there in the aftermath of the Des Johnston affair.
What the fans have donethough, in pulling together finances to pay for some improvements to the ground, and making sure that that is where the money went should be applauded
Roll on next season!!!
