They do have a case though for what it could cost them.
There was part of the statement that read if correct that the RFL have executive powers and do not have to listen to what the appeals panel says, you maybe know more about the truthfulness of that statement.

Sheffield have lost out of £25,000 compared with what the table would've looked like with the three points deduction (which is itself a moot point).
Keighley have lost an estimated £250,000. Not sure how that's calculated but it wouldn't surprise me, taking into account lost gate money, central funds, local sponsorship etc.
