Hope to god dave pulls through,know him really well from the football and cant believe just after the game i was talking to him asking him if he was coming to liquid for the after party and he was really looking forward to it. Hope he makes a full recovery and would be great if he could make it to the presentation at shay on monday but its a long shot.

Mark sadly we are talking likely months rather than days in hospital especially considering its the head that took such a beating.But its still way too early for any doctor to say how things will be and how long etc.

I'm sure whenever his recovery is complete, this young fellow will be most welcomed back, not only at Halifax but also at Warrington.

The reason many of us watch RL is because fans can mix without all the trouble you get at soccer. An incident like this is bad for RL as a whole.

Wish Dave all the best and hope his family know that real RL fans are thinking about them at a difficult and sad time.

Hope you are well soon Dave, and back watching the game we all love.

Lets hope they find the person who did this terrible thing to a guy out at a RL game enjoying his teams win, there really is no room for that sort of behaviour in our great game.
