We certainly can see a pattern here. Virtually every game this season which has turned violent has involved Leigh. Funny that, isn't it?

Also, if you can't handle an alternative point of view I suggest you stay on your own forum where everyone will agree with you. Simples!

You have done well to get to "every" game this season for every team in the championship, that's a true fan!

It was a bad incident when you guys were likely to go on and win, for those of you that have played rugby before then you will understand what I mean when I say that contact was easily avoidable, wether Manning wanted to avoid the contact is the debatable point.

You have obviously forgotten, or more likely never even accepted Paul Rowley's declared tactics at the Shay that followed precisely that line.

When Leigh are losing the game by just playing rugby it's okay for them to do whatever is necessary and say "so be it" like he did, he was pleased with himself that it worked to the point of being proud.

Paul Rowley is just as much responsible as anyone, he started it so instead of various Leigh supporters coming on with the insults and telling us what we should and should not be doing concerning the BOD, team and coach take a look at yourselves, but you won't accept anything that negatively finds it's way back to Leigh.

This is exactly the arrogant mentality that I am referring to when you take the high morale ground and lecture others yet fail to apply it in house.

Dane Manning will serve the full 10 games but there should be others punished for their part in what led up to it but they won't.

It was a bad un, and as been mentioned, just as bad as Newton and Cassidys tackle. I think Cassidy stayed on the pitch too because everything happened so quickly. All 3 tackles were bad, and just as bad as Les Boyds famous tackle which saw him being banned for some time in the 80's.

The you tube clip was unfortunately the wrong angle. The damage was done by Mannings right elbow, not the left. Jumping up to connect shows the intent. He didn't miss !!

Now the sense of reality is that you have lost a good second rower for 10 weeks as a result of being plain stupid. Why he started the second brawl after that tackle God knows. He was on a mission thats for sure.

I am also aware that he has a really poor disciplinary record. That wont help neither !

I think it is a toss of a coin on whether HRLFC actually support him or not. Its going to be an interesting few days for the Halifax board. I hope they do, and give him the help and support required to channel his agression in the correct way.

you expect our board to react to something within 10 weeks ?

I don't need to go to every game, I can read match reports, and I'm only referring to the ones that have turned into fights and had players sent off. 2 against Fax, 1 against Fev and 1 against Leeds to start with.

As regards Dane, why should he avoid contact? It's a contact sport!

stop being difficult, I clearly said "that" contact which relates to "that" tackle during "that" game, your just showing yourself up, he could of pulled out of "that" tackle 3 times over before the contact, yet he didn't and in turn you lost.

He lost you "that " game.

Ridiculous that Dane gets a 10 game ban and the report is wrong anyway. It was a shoulder charge rather than a tackle and the first contact was not with an elbow.
As for the fight pathetic over the top reaction. Rugby League is physical and players lose it sometimes. But how can a couple of punches be the same as dropping a player on his neck and possibly putting him in a wheelchair like Ferres got? The judiciary are so out of touch and are more concerned about PC than doing things with common sense. The crowd and players love a bit of biff. The game has gone too far and made it boring like todays state of origin. If the ref had stopped the niggle from Barlow and others then this incident wouldnt have happened. If the Match officials had things under control then the brawl would not have happened for me. Manning deserves a ban but as said 10 is stupid meanwhile the niggling and even punching in tackles and on the sidelines is ignored...

Well not I'm not wanting to be difficult but.

Are you saying then that Fax would have won the game if Manning had not made that tackle, which by the way would have meant both he and Barlow would still have been on the pitch.

Are you saying Manning's contribution is worth more than Barlow's, I doubt that very much.

How can you say that, it's all conjecture as is the statement he could have pulled out of it 3 times, I played plenty of rugby and once you are committed to the tackle at that speed you can't just stop, Barlow couldn't get out of the way neither of them had time to do anything, it was pass and bang.

As for the term "YOU LOST". Fax lost the game fair and square over the full 80 minutes with everything that went in between I didn't lose anything because I wasn't playing.
