From Bubba's figures, the number of players on the pitch for Fax maybe greater but they are spread out more, proof of this is the poop pile of a goal area which in my opinion was massively to blame for Miles Greenwood's broken leg. The middle of each penalty area are a constant mess, the same with most lower league football pitches.
Fax have complained for a long time about pitch usage and have been proven wrong. Though I am happy for them to prove me wrong.
Going back to the 2013/14 season (when Fax first bleated to the local press about pitch usage and unfair rent charges) the Shaymen used the pitch 25 times.
(Games x players on pitch x length of match = pitch usage)
25 x 22 x 90 = 49,500
During their 2013 campaign Fax also had use of the pitch for 25 games.
25 x 26 x 80 = 52,000
Do you have the information available about how many times HRLFC have trained on the pitch this year to make an accurate assessment? I dont, but history suggests Fax will once again be wrong.
Both clubs, as part of their tenancy, get office space within the stadium. Whilst Fax are using the facilities that the East Stand offers, the Shaymen continue to operate from out of the dated office block between the South and Skircoat Road Stands.
The rugby club have for a number of years had a club shop to sell merchandise from. Whilst there is history behind the reasons why FCHT continue to sell goods from a trestle table rather than their own shop, the fact is that this is one additional area where HRLFC get a greater use of the Shay facilities.
Then there is the gym underneath the South Stand which is exclusively used by the rugby club. Fax also have the laundry room within the East Stand which will use considerable amounts of water and electric. The Shaymen however continue to use an external launderette at their own expense.

Old news and now inaccurate ask yourself how many games did Town play at home last season compared to Fax? Plus do Fax still use that gym under the south stand?

Also do Town have to play away from the Shay mid season every year for pitch improvements without any compensation? No but Fax do and they lose out as no income for 6 weeks then several home games on the bounce with lower crowds as fans get out of the habit of going and cannot afford 3 or 4 games back to back but you never mention that do you?
Fev make every penny of anything that is sold in their ground, what do Fax and Town make?
And Fev have no stadium running costs (rates, utilities, telephones, pitch maintenance, stadium maintenance, stadium manager, etc)? So please, let me know what the gross profit of stadium income against stadium costs Fev make?

I agree that it is a very difficult situation for Fax and some blame should be apportioned to those who owned/ran the club when they failed to invest in Thrum Hall, allowed it to become a dump leaving you with no option but to move to a football stadium.

How many games did FCHT play, how many games did HRLFC play, how many non 1st team games did either club play, how many training sessions did each club have?
I take it the gym is now empty of anything to do with HRLFC?
It's not a football stadium though is it!!!!! It's a community sports stadium where rugby and football is played and should be fit for purpose.Fax have been at the Shay for 18 years. What long gone previous owners of the club allegedly did or didn't do prior to that is irrelevant.
