If you had read my post and interpreted it correctly then you would actually see than in a round about way I stated you are the Bench mark for every team this year. I may have gone off on one but my point was that everyone wants us to Fail (as most want Fax to fail). I wonder how many teams are chuffed Toulouse beat Barrow tonight for the wrong reasons. A loss at this stage in the season is no big deal as we are not at the business end yet. By that time Fax, Toulouse and Barrow (to name a few) may have suffered injuries and have players banned which could have us all scratching our heads. At the start of the seson Toulouse were appearing as if they would be the whipping boys but have obviously recruited well. Not sure how they will fair on their travels but I would be sure that most teams will struggle over there.

In all seriousness I actually mean no animosity to youselves and enjoy banter. I give enough so I am happy to take it back. I am thoroughly looking forward to the game at your place and have managed to book it off work. Like I said earlier you are the benchmark for all teams this year and are there to be sniped at.

I think Barrow need to recruit again as the loss of Lee Mossop has left a big hole.

Good luck for the rest of the season - Cas V Leeds result makes your effort look even better than it actually was.

Im off - see you on here on the 18 July ha ha

You mean this one:

Toulouse by plenty......................LMFAO you obviously know nothing about rugby league. You lot have had years to assemble your squad and get your shot at SL, just because Barrow have proven (upto now) all the doubters wrong and have spent smartly it would appear a certain amount of jealousy has crept in (particularly from our friends up the coast). Halifax are the bench mark this year BUT by christ, so you should be with the amount of time you have had to assemble a Championship squad.

How stupid were are. Now then, where's that enigma machine? :STUPID:

Fax are setting the pace for sure, but reading some of the comments on here would have you believe that they've already won the thing. Fax WILL lose at least 1 or 2 games this season so it's still all up for grabs. You also have to remember that this is Barrow's first season at the higher level and most of the 10 'locals' who played today (and vs Wigan, Fax and Widnes)have never played at this level before. They are only going to get better.

There's a long way to go and Barrow still have room in the salary cap for 4 more players. Today's defeat will give the Barrow players, coaching staff and officials even more determination to improve. I'm sure Des J has a few quality signings up his sleeve for the 2nd half of the season.

The fact is that the only thing that matters is who wins the GF in September. Fax may well be peaking too soon (as they have done in the past).

By and large - especially on this thread - we react to knobhead posters from other clubs. As for peaking too early - at what point to people stop saying that? When we lose to Barrow in the Final?
