I doubt Calland will go no matter what before July. I say that as the club could in theory be announced that we will be in SL. With that news we then have a better chance to get a better quality Coach. Obviously if we stay in the Championship as predicted, then that rules out a few people. SO I guess its sit and wait and hope/Prey that things improve. Personally I cant see Matt being here next year. This is his last year and I feel no matter what happens on and off the pitch, many people now question is ability. I would not be too surprised to see the board say they will open up the job and that Matt has the chance to re-apply-similar to what happened with Peter Roe a few years ago.
Maybe the Board know what the RFL are planning and that as such we wont get relegated-though I think thats a big risk as dont trust the RFL what they say.

and bring the likes of Smith, Jones, and Clayton in. Now you telling me we couldnt manage without a couple of them and maybe have either kept Branno or Maloney?

Heard Rumours but no official confirmation. Maybe if its being !Franchised" then there is no urgent need to replace Calland until atleast July when we know we are in SL or not and who we can maybe look to get in. The problem is the game of Rugby League is being run in Secret and nobody seems to know or want to say what is going on and the floating supporter is getting fed up not just with how Fax are but the way the people at Red hall run it. People have drifted away from watching Fax (and others) not just because of the way things have happened at the club , but the way SL is and the rest of the game is being run.

We could not afford the £40 K Branno wanted, But we fetch Holly in and keep Larder.

Heard Branighan was back in the country and was looking at playing over here once his visa issues were sorted. Not sure how credible this is though.

you just perfectly explained me, my family and a few friends as to why fax have fewer season ticketers after decades of supporting thru thick and thin
