It seems easy for other clubs supporters to blow every issue out of proportion or some supporters cos most of the ones i see at games seem to encounter no bother what so ever, and appear to be enjoying things without being on edge.

Trouble is, when "other club supporters" is pretty much everyone who visits your place it is your club who is missing out because you are gaining a reputation as the worst club to visit in the whole league and it's turning loads of people away.

It's not me who needs a plan, it is Featherstone, and if you ignore the complaints or, as happens every time some bad behaviour is reported, come on here and whinge about those complaining, your own club suffers more than anyone. Worst away experience in the league, and that's very unfortunate.

I am not condoning any violence or even the swearing, but come on if you really find chanting intimidating then you should probably go watch snooker!

I am not changing my view that nothing of any substance went on today infact both sets of fans were a credit in general and I think its churlish to try and suggest the chanting was some sort of real problem. Like I said in my last post I was sat with a group of Halifax fans in the family stand and I would hope at least on of them may come on here and give some balance to this kick fevathon!

You miss my point. I have been following Halifax for 20+ years now. I have been to every single ground that there is and when I go to the away ground I ALWAYS sit with the relevant home supporters. I can honestly say, hand on heart, that the nasty chanting by Featherstone fans are, without exception, the worst I have been close to, and that is even worse than the Hull fans at the Boulevard (which took some beating).

I am a grown up and I know that it goes on, but even the screeching banshee that was sat in front of me was joining in with the W@nky and the B@stard chants and SHE had a couple of 10 - 11 year old girls with her (great example).

One woman behind me, following a high tackle from us, screeched I hope you fckuing go down you bunch of morons, and she had children with her (another great example).

That said, I'll no doubt be back there for our Norther Rail Cup semi-final.....

Worse than Hull now i know your having a laugh and as for woman swearing In front of kids that I agree and I am sure the this never happens at any other club or ground, and I know it wont at yours as your ladies are just so refined, and I know this because they are on Jeremy Kyle all the time and always come across as most civilised.

I do read some garbage on here, im a fax fan and i hear both teans having banter but thats it. W@nky w@nky halifax chant is sang by every opposing team not just fev and fax have sang W@nky w@nky warrington back in the super league era. All fax fans are angels and all fev fans are yobs if you read this forum. Total utter garbage! It was a couple of mindless idiots that attacked david singer , every team has these idiots that just want to cause bother and its these individuals that need targeting. lets stop making a scapegoat out of every fev fan!

Why did you not insist action was taken? Why not mover a few feet a way from the trouble some 3? why come on here spouting off about a non event? You had the power in your hands to change behaviour, you could have sort out a director, found one of the police officers at the game, asked another steward.... but instead you come on here.

Friendly banter is all part of the game. Malicious intimidation is not. Yes, I have been going to RL games all my life and I am now 60. I do not see why people should have to feel threatened when they attend a RL match and only at Fev does this happen.

If you wish to bury your head in the sand and pretend there is no problem fair enough.

singing an chanting at a rugby league game....whats the world coming too?........i walked with my wife an lad around the back of the fax fans with about a minute to go......never said diddly squat to anyone, it didn't stop your fans turning round to goad etc......i can take that, it dont bother me as long as theres nowt malicious or personal...i just laughed an carried on walking.....i dont usually take to getting involved in threads like this.....i like to talk about rugger....but i think until you actually have some decent rugby to watch, start winning games etc, threads like this will become the norm on your forums.....shame really.
