You did indeed gingdong. Lets hope things are moving on now. Thanks for your sporting commentary on how you think Fax are doing. It's been coming for a while now and sport has a funny habit of turing itself around and for once it could be we start slowly and finish strongly. Still some key games to come but with Dewsbury dropping a point at home today, London pulling off a win against Leigh and Fev still having a game in hand then it really is starting to hot up for that 4th spot. Love it.

Great weekend for Fax. Hopefully a few of the fair weathers are now gonna come back and give us a try again.
Interesting weekend for the league, London improving too, I hope the media can give this developing scene some good exposure.

It would have been a lot better if Leigh had kept up their unbeaten record! :-) Blumming rubbish Charlie!

Don't come on the forum too often but thought I must comment on Saturday's great win.
The overall performance was better than I have seen for a long time, much better than the two games against the Bulls and Wildcats in the cup this season.
The partnerships between Murrell/Craven - Tyrer/Saxton and Potts/Heaton really look to have improved our attacking options.

You can see the improvement from week to week which is credit to Richard and the coaching staff, we graved for performances like this during the previous management structure but it wasn't to be.

Going forward we have four place in our own hands now on the basis of if we can beat Sheffield and London at home I think we could do it. London are the threat as they have a soft end of season fixture list having to play all four bottom teams and therefore to lose at the Shay would be crucial to Fax getting fourth spot.
It would be good for Richard to have some extra cash to spend on players for next season and built a team capable of reaching even higher up the league.

I am still buzzing from Saturday night and long may it continue.

Good win for Halifax, you could see who was more up for it right from the warm ups.

Looking back, Fev should have postponed this game. There's a serious D&V virus running through the squad and most of the lads playing were not up to the task.

Not making excuses, you can only beat what's in front of you.

Makes the race for fourth very interesting now.

Makes good viewing.

Tyrer offside for the first try though and by some distance. I did say that i liked that ref.

The break at the end of the first half showed what we are all about. We just got around them so easily at times.

Craven looked quality all the game and should have had a penalty after his early break in the second half when the tackle was completed, if the tackle is not completed then in theory you can draw someone as far as you want as long as they are moving but still its clearly a drag in to touch rather than a push.

Murrell's reaction when Fev score, again plenty of fight in this team and when someone is not putting it in they will get called on it and then up their game.

What a pass from Ben Heaton.

I didnt really see it at the time but what a pass from Tangata, as technically sound as you will see, take the drive and then he is looking at the guy behind Mitch when he slips the pass. Very very silky. Given he has been reduced to water boy for most of the season he could have easily have taken his bat and ball home but he has been given a chance and is taking it with both hands. Hes had a little bit of stick on here so its nice to see him getting a run and going about proving people wrong much the same as Kaye and Heaton have done.

Excellent post.Look at Murrell's reaction at the finish to see what it mean't.Impressed with Scott this season he had gone soft and stale under KH but RM has envigorated
him although i bet we won't be giving many 4 year contracts again...
