Im sad to see him go as he has been one of my favorite players to wear the Blue and White but this season has, for whatever reason, looked a shadow of his former self. Desperately disappointing for us, but great acquisition for Fax. If he plays like he did for the Dogs you've got arguably the best Stand Off in the Division.

That would be Mennel, Lythes and Lindsey. Dont know about Reittie or the other 2, but Lindsey has definitely re-signed with us for next year. It's been made official.

Wouldnt have thought you would be looking for a hooker though, i.e. Lythes, when you've already got Penky and Beswick.

Dane Manning has signed for us also according to my source inside the club.

Also ben has a few contract offers one being swinton, but is in for talks with us monday.

Wouldnt be bothered to lose Black now we have hanforth gone very very stale this season, would much rather have an expierieneced head in handforth to bring along the likes of jones and Bowman.

Blacks work ethic has to be seriously questioned imo.

I think Ben still has something in his tank and with a decent coach could be a good asset.

What about putting him on a retainer with a pay per play bonus, would be a top impact player to cover for Handforth.

Ben has been a shadow his former self on match days, injuries and family life permitting maybe, but we have rarely seen what he is capable of in recent times. It might well be we have seen Bens best, perhaps he is too settled and needs to find something his game has lost, maybe thats not with us, i wont shed too many tears if it is, but ill always say thanks for moments like his winner at Batley the other year and the GF2010.
