Your right Brew other clubs do still poke fun at us because we got the buckets out ,so do I wish we had never done it? Do I heck as like because geting the buckets out saved our club , it is highly likely we would not have had a club if we had not done what we did.
I did not feel entirly comfortable with doing it at the time either but I had already grown an extra layer of skin from having the micky taken out of us every away game with the Bluesox name that Wood foisted on us. I still cringe at the thought of going to St Helens and listening to the matchday MC make disparaging remarks about the team our club and our name we were made the laughing stock of Super League by Wood.
