I think that's partly down to our position near the top of our league. It's rare that a player moves to a club that is seen as higher up than ours.
When Gleeson agreed to sign for Fev then appeared the same day at The Shay signing a contract on the pitch, Fev were still on the rise as opposed to where they are now, same as when worrincy and Barlow left Sheffield for us. Many players who leave fax are ones that the coaching staff deem surplus. That or who other clubs are willing to pay more for their services.
There isn't too much a gap between the top 4 or 5 teams in this division. We'll compete for the signatures of the same players. And if an I individual leaves one club, chances are he'll wind up at another of the higher teams, unless Whitehaven or York (bith examples before anyone gets upset) push the boat out and sell their vision for growth
