Bubba your forum at Shaymen.net is a disgrace and has allowed lies, untruths as well as slanderous comments to be posted. As a moderator/Administrator you are responsible for what is posted. Allowing people to post hate like they want Abbott to be chased out of the area and calling Abbott all the names under the sun is a disgrace. But then you try and call his charactor in to question and allow people to post untruths and slander regarding Tony Abbott and his company. How can you expect people to take you seriously? And the way you go on and claim to be the voice of all Halifax Town fans is a joke. You took your bat and ball home once and now you stick your nose in and think you know best. Your backward thinking and attitude is why the town is a back water. Instead of thinking of the future and seeing the benefits, you are happy to stay in the dark ages and think the council are so good- until FC Pubteam games are postponed. Instead of seeing the Council sell the Shay you would rather Nurseries and Social Services etc cut. People like you make me sick with the BS you do behind peoples back.

Happy. In what has you and a few of your followers have done.

Which is for the moment amounts to what.

1. Stopping a seven figure sum just to start with being invested in the Shay.

2. Preventing hundreds of jobs being created down at the Shay.

3. The Shay staying unfinished indefinately.

4. Ensuring a six figure and rising liabilty is being paid for by the entire population of Calderdale indefinately.

What does that add up to using your own logic after having used the term yourself, a paranoid hyprocrite perhaps.

My comment about 'fair game' was in reference to Tony Abbott fighting for his case for buying the ground and HTST fighting the case for the council not selling. Of course it is relevant as you are making out you represent the fans of FC Halifax Town so come on how many?
You have to declare this to the FCA so you must know.
As for a separate stadium company what is wrong with that?

I've been away for a weekend of gigs all over the place, that's why i chose not to attend the RL world cup
game at the Shay yesterday. As the broadcast went live on tv & Andrew Voss began to give our town, district & stadium many varied compliments i sent out a simple text to many mates & family saying this: "Looks great on tv a packed out Shay stadium". Most of the replies i received back were complimentry of the organisation, atmosphere, communal feeling etc etc etc. I got one negative, from a Town fan & former work colleague of mine ( Bubba knows who i mean ), his reply was this: "shame it's for rugby" Now, two things here, it shows the lack of intelligence & respect for our sport 'cos i believe the "rugby" match was played at Twickenham the day previously and secondly, smacked of pure jealousy, this game didn't even involve the club he dis-affectionately calls "squatters" it was a world cup game, that's world cup that over 10,000 people chose to attend. I know several RL & Halifax RLFC followers who chose not to go for various reasons yesterday but it appears that the game is alive and kicking despite all that we negate it, those of us who do.
Absolutely spiteful, jealousy & bitterness on all fronts sums up many Halifax Town football fans. Put an attendance in of over 10,000 and you can start talking i say, challenge on.

Will Halifax RLFC be putting in an attendance of over 10,000 anytime soon? Don't get me wrong, it was great to see The Shay full. It's just that the above makes it sound like yesterday was in some way Halifax RLFC's achievement.
