Well, I always rated Paddy when he was at Batley in shortish spells down the slope he was a handful, certainly.
But IIRC wasn't he the player who'd had some sort of illness & weight loss last season ? If that is him, maybe he'll take some time to get back to what he was as a player previously, who knows ?
As a front rower in my playing days he's the sort of player on his Batley form that i'd have liked to have played in a team with rather than against.

Good luck to him whatever he does next in his career either at 'Fax or elsewhere, I trust rhino didn't bring him just for the ride and thought he'd be of value to our squad.

Reminds me of a few of the bigger lads I played on the same side as, probably hits it up hard in training but has jelly legs when it comes to game time. Coaches nightmare and probably boils down to a confidence thing.

Bracek, a signing for a Champ 1 club is not in any way a big signing I'm afraid.

He was the one mentioned last night and he will sign so lets welcome him, but, I think it's a smoke screen I think there will be a big name tomorrow night as well.

I don't expect anyone from a rival top Championship club (who we could yet have to play), so unless it's a current SL player then this is going to be something of a disappointment...

After the game in the East Stand bar, that name seemed to be bandied about too easily, I might be wrong, I usually am, but, I think it will be someone big.
(so that rules out Rob Burrows then)

Rumour: Sinfield approached KH for contract as assistant player/coach as he wanted to learn how to coach from the best. KH declined saying " You`re too slow for Championship , son." So looks like its Burrows after all.
