God knows where Harrison thinks the trys are coming from when 3 of the top scorers from last season are either sat in the stands or no longer at the club and ripping it up else where.

Its time to bring in coaches who can get the best out of players rather than ones who knock players confidence at any given opportunity.

Why not get Long in now he's left London.Think he was mentioned in summer but in Harrison's better judgement we got Ricki Sherrife

I'm afraid Harrison could coach the flair out of any team. Yesterday I brought the wife and had a day on the beer as well, suggesting to her this could be a family day every week, she was up for trying it after coming to the World Cup, needless to say she suggested she would spend the £17 in the shears and meet me after.

It was shambolic, what's the point in changing the half backs and just playing the same boring stuff. Both on and off the field we have gone back massively. Bring back Matt Calland and the exciting entertaining rugby, the grand finals, the roller coaster ride that was worth every penny.

Trouble is Matt would have to be able to turn back the clock and bring back the younger Penky, Blacky, Shad, Miles etc.

Did he coach that or just let them go out and run round weaving their magic.

At this level never to be seen again I fear.

Dire performance. Too many dropped balls. No urgency. Beaten round the ruck. If we cannot brake Batley down, what chance have we of braking teams like Fev, Sheff, Leigh etc.
I agree the brand of rugby is boring and Calland's brand of rugby was far more entertaining.

Maybe he should give Holding a run at 9 contrasting Kaye or Mennell.

Not bad in defense and certainly more dynamic than the above which would give the opposition a few different questions to answer.

What he needs to do, in my opinion, is to decide on his best 17 and stick with them so that they get used to playing together. Changes should then only be made when forced upon him due to injuries etc. We may then gain some consistency. Halfbacks need to build a partnership as do wingers/centres who develop an instinct for where their partners will be at any given time. How the hell can they do this when it's like Harrisons Musical Chairs every week?

Another point the board and some on here seem to miss, I have seen mentioned that the style of rugby we played under MC did not bring more fans down the Shay, I would agree with that and although it was great to watch crowds did not noticeably go up. The thing was though it was there, they had a starting base to go on. What do they have now? Even the regulars who go through thick and thin are starting to drop off because the rugby been served up is so boring. How can you try and get new people to go down when even the regulars think its crap?

I said last season I can cope with boring rugby if it gets results and we can compete. It doesn't and we cant. Its not the boring rugby that gets me though it is an issue, its the fact its not affective.

On yesterdays showing would having John Kear as coach make any difference, Batley were as bad if not worse and he has seen and done most things in the game.

Just trying to get some perspective into an all round poor affair.
