Got to the second half and I find myself fuming again. The forward pass is so far forward I have no idea how its not spotted but first off is the Barlow sending off which is just a total disgrace. The man is not right in his head.
First off he runs in to our line and fights with Dane Manning so straight away it should have been a penalty there for obstruction. Next up we have the `knock on` which leads to the try and i have to say on viewing it that it looks totally fine and is play on but when Heaton goes to pick the ball up and the Leigh player regathers and passes it Barlow runs over and swings at Heaton which again should be a penalty and sending off and then he fights with Potts.
The try should never have stood and leigh should have been down to 12 men. This is easily one of the worst refereeing performances i have seen at this level. Yes we blew a 24 point lead but some of the decisions were awful and KH has a right to go mad over them.
Waste of £15? Come on it was terrific entertainment although hugely disappointing as a Fax fan obviously but it had it all, one team ripping it up one half then the other the second half with a sending off, two fights and 4 sin binning's, what more do you want (Fax winning apart)? We were competing with a team built by spending big bucks and could have beaten them with a bit more luck and composure. Don't confuse a bad result with a poor game please.
We must have a difference of a opinion on a good game then
For a neutral, probably a good game but watching my team concede 36 unanswered points is not acceptable.
Although I agree, we are competing with a team built by spending big bucks, we are Halifax RLFC... we are massive and should not only be competing, but we should be beating teams like Leigh at home when 24 - 0 up.
No confusion unfortunately, a bad result is always poor game in my opinion.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't it against the law to enter a sporting stadium in this country when battered with alcohol ? The stewards were close enough to see this moron & his scratter mates performing like circus ponies, they were a disgrace to mankind. If our club continue to employ stewards who don't want to deal with trouble-makers of this kind & fail to segregate crowds from one week to another then crowd problems WILL escalate. Widnes were given the northstand a week earlier, what exactly is the difference ? Believe me, it was so close to kicking off on sunday in the front right-hand side of the southstand. I'm not prepared to put up with such crap, if my club wants my support to continue, they'd better get their act together. The easy solution would be to wait until the pi$$ed up hooligans have left the stadium, follow them/wait for them and deal with it in the manner that they were inviting with their gesturing during the game, maybe as Gingdong stated earlier in this thread as previously happened at Fev. One thing is for sure, anyone can buy me a pint of beer welcomingly, start throwing it at me like what i witnessed on sunday with other fans in that vicinity and we'll be looking at totally different outcomes, that i promise. What an absolute clown him & his mates made of themselves. Can't one of you Leythers reccomend a decent dentist to the bloke ?
Why, oh why oh why did we leave ourselves short at half back ? If this is the only way Keith Holden can break into our 1st team, he's probably at the wrong club i.m.o.
If our players can't cope with the after effects of a couple of pre-meditated scraps aimed at putting you off your game i find that astonishing, for gods sake it happens every week on amateur pitches, it was a coaching instruction of desperation but it worked for them. Guess what's coming your way next time your winning against us on the scoreboard, and why wouldn't you .....
We lost after leading 24-0, for around 30mins they had one player less than we did, let's not kid ourselves, it's not the first time we've lost second halves. If you lot are happy with that little lot you go ahead & carry on, i think it's garbage & not good enough. I won't be giving my time up to travel to Barrow on friday, not a chance.

Colin, I found gingdongs stupid remark very insensitive in view of what happened to one of our supporters a few years ago. (Not wishing to drag that subject up) Waiting for fans boozed up or not seems a little too "football" for me. However your observations on the actual game are spot on, But, roll on Friday.
The biggest worry is how many of there on Sunday actually had the belief that at 24 up we would go on and win, I certainly wasn't confident and that speaks volumes.

Strange actually, at half time I remarked that Leigh were very poor and I couldn't see them getting back. HOWEVER in the back of my mind was that game against Bradford at Thrum Hall when we were a similar points up, Dewsbury away when John Doherty was in charge, 22 up at half time I think, he got sin binned and we lost, and yet as Starbug has said Hilton Park, we were well down at half time and went on to steal it at the end. Blackpool, v Fev, as Billy Joel said, http://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=kp&v=eFTLKWw542g It's great.

At 24-0 I said to my Dad - we've got to stop them getting a bonus point. Then they scored right on half time and my dad said "three tries and they're back in it. Haven't you seen their last minute wins over the last few matches?" As soon as they scored their first second half try I knew that we were done for.
It's Wednesday and I'm still reeling. The only time I've ever felt this bad after a match was St Helens away when referee Campbell robbed us and that was a long time ago. My missus said to me yesterday "I wonder how much more fun you would be if you didn't watch that f****** rugby team!!"
