You have to have some big men in the middle of the park.. Fev will just smash it up the middle and try break up the middle of the field before swinging it wide.

They have a few players back now too so look much stronger in the pack but still a shadow of what they were like last year.

Tommy Haughey looks in good form, his offloading kills teams. Everytime he gets the ball he spins in the tackle and looks to promote.

Tonks as ever is a cheap shot merchant..

Rovers had plenty missing yesterday but the players that stepped in were awsome and it was probably the best display for a long time, if those players can produce that kind of game 4 days later is open to debate. I think you mean Tommy Saxton, as for Tonks he may be used to be a cheap shot merchant but not anymore he has improved out of sight

Saxton yes sorry. He looks in good nick.

Don't doubt you had players missing but you had players back was what I was trying to get across.

Saxton is playing great, We had a couple back, still loads out but looking at yesterdays game the players that filled in didnt weaken the team, and even if players are made available Thurs i would be tempted to keep the same 17

People shouldnt read too much in to Fevs result yesterday as that would mean underestimating how poor we were against Batley at the Shay.

As for the team MC has to start playing Holroyd and Black together, this is our best half combo and will be the one that finishes the season i suspect so best to get them up to speed now. Theres no doubting the talent in our back line but i just cant help think how our pack dosnt look that great. We need another yard maker, we lose our best two and we struggle.

I agree, I still don't believe we've replaced Maloney yet. I'd be much more confident about the campaign if we brought in another decent prop.
