With widnes gone today, you would like to think that the RFL will give fax and barra pointers on where they went wrong with their bids.

With the facilities of only leigh, fax and possibly the relegated super league team being suitable this means, again, only a few clubs can apply in the next round of licences.

What will happen if some clubs spend all their income on first team matters, happy to stay in the CC but clubs chasing SL spend money in other areas. The result will most probably be that clubs like ourselves and leigh won't win NRC/be in grand final!

We could be in a position where clubs in the best place to be in super league don't qualify on the pitch! What would the RFL do then?

You can't spend all your income on first team matters. There's a salary cap in place.

The RFL can justify anything that they do via press releases simply because they don't give a crap what happens to clubs below SL. Seriously, they don't.

I dont think the RFL would give a "rats arris" as they will invite all clubs who do qualify to apply, which in your scenario, would be the 14 clubs already in superleague, or they make special dispensation and allow an expansion club in (Toulouse).....

Only scenario of anybody going up in 2015 is if Cas dont get the stadium built or Crusaders go bust properly , other than that we're all here to stay , get used to it
