Neil's Notes v Dewsbury/Away travel : Tue Apr 26, 2011 8:19 am
At last a league win and gradually creeping up the table. Win next week against Barrow by 15 points and we go above them. Dylan Nash kindly replaced Sam Barlow as guest player in the bar. Sam was required elsewhere!!!!!! Maybe next time. Dylan was confident we can now go on from here. Hangover from winning the final maybe. Still says we can at least finish 2nd and have 2 chances in the playoffs again.Club 1873

Voting for the Southdale Lounge Man of the Match went to Sean Penkywicz who gets 3 points. 2nd was Graham Holroyd with 2 points and finally 3rd with 1 point Dylan Nash.
The placing remains the same with Makali Aizue on 7 points followed by Paul White on 6 but Penky now joins Danny Jones in overal 3rd place with 5.
Johnny Freeman picked out the Players Association Hitman award which went to Paul Smith after a close tussle with Makali Aizue. Others who came in contension were Penky who had a great game in defence as well with his 2 tackles in the first half with the Dewsbury player losing the ball on both occasions and Rob Worrincy for his chase following a kick through to tackle the player on the line.
£200 went to Golden Gamble ticker winning number 3558.
Our next away game is to Featherstone on Sunday 15th May. Since the Championship Final there has been a lot of discussion on the safety of supporters at this game which has not helped following reported incidents at yesterdays game with Leigh. We are in discussions to ensure the safety of all fans and we expect to run our usual coach which will leave the Shay at 1.00pm. Cost is adults £9 and juniors with an adult £5.
