Who is your pre-match and half time announcer? I thought your overall "match day experience" (what an awful phrase, but the RFL like it!) was good but hell that bloke sounded like he'd come straight from the Wheel Tappers & Shunters Club!! I full expected him to announce that the pies had arrived and that the turn will be on in 10 minutes!

As for the rugby, you definitely played the more inventive, creative game.

You see - he's a local lad - from Yorkshire. He happened to be the match day announcer between two Yorkshire clubs. Did you want it in Urdu?

The guy is top notch and probably earns more doing his job than you do doing yours!

Why would I want him to talk in Urdu!?!?!? That would make no sense at all.

I was simply making the point that your "match day experience" was very slick & professional with the exception of Colin Crompton on the mic. No big issue, and not trying to wind anyone up.

A simple case of you (Littlerich) and I have a differing sense of humour.

Dear Littlerich, I too am very proud of my Yorkshire accent and I suspect I've had mine longer than yours. I repeat I was merely offering my views on his delivery. Not a big issue at all.

Am i a bit touchy about mi Yarkshire roots? Maybe, maybe. I'm 76 year old by the way.
