Neil' Notes v Bradford/Away Travel/Hall of Fame : Tue May 10, 2011 9:02 am
What a super day it was on Sunday both on and off the field. We could so easily have been celebrating a famous victory. I think it shows what we can add to Super League. Well done to everybody at the Club in organising the whole event. The Southdale Lounge Man of the Match was won by a mile by Sean Penkywicz who collects 3 points. 2nd with 2 points was Danny Jones who also picked up the Halifax Players Association Hitman award presented by that larger than life figure of Adam Foggerty. 3rd with 1 point was Makali Aizue .
That now makes the latest standings in joint 1st place Makali joined by Penky with 8 points and 3rd Danny Jones on 7 points. Paul White still remains 4th on 6 points.
There was no Club 1873 as it was a cup match.
The Golden Gamble winning number was 4701 going away with £297.
Bookings are now taking place for away travel to Featherstone on Sunday. We leave the Shay at 1.00pm. Adults £9 with juniors travelling with an adult £5. Featherstone have arranged parking when we arrive and to be met by stewards.
Just another note for your diary is the reopening of the Hall of Fame on Wednesday 18th May in the banqueting suite from 7.00pm. All supporters are welcome. A collection on the night will be made towards the Faxbuilder Fund for the under 23's.
