Yes I'm quite surprised it has taken this long to reach the backwaters , of Yorkshire

Not good news for us I fear , and just when it was all going ' swimmingly ' , the trials and tribulations of supporting a lower league sports club , and people wonder why I bang on about building supporter numbers in our league constantly , it is the only way we will ever survive , let alone prosper

Which tells you a lot about the intelligence of the players , if they néed to ask an agent

It's all relative. In relation to SL salaries no they don't. Comparing them with other championship clubs they do!
Agents touting players, clubs, players can all confirm this when negotiating deals.

Dews, Toulouse, Hunslet, York, Batley, Sheff can only dream about paying the sums out that Leigh, Fev (and up til last year, Fax) do. Even Dez at Barrow is reigning in the purse strings?? Widnes don't have to put up big numbers this year and haven't since they won the NRC - which leaves us and Leigh as the biggest payers!!

...illustrating the point perfectly about clubs distorting the wages market with salaries they could never afford without loans.
