Morning all! Right I wanted to give everyone an update regarding this event that takes place VERY SOON on Fri 1st July. We are currently sat with approx 10 tables reserved but this is mostly the trust board that have organised these tables. We really need everyone together behind this event if we truly are going to hit our target early and go on to raise more money for the club this event has to be FULL.

If you don't usually attend events the club puts on then this is the one for you!! You can easily bring your partner without fear of it being completely rugby related as it isn't!! It's an event that offers something for everyone.

In terms of auction items and raffle prizes we have a booze bin to auction, a table of 10 for any Xmas Party at The Venue, a Director for the day at Halifax RLFC, a FAMILY season ticket for 2012 and much much more!!

Also I have organised with the Halifax Board that anyone who attends the Summer Bash will receive a free ticket for the Toulouse game!! This initiative is another fantastic gesture from the club!! The idea is anyone who has never been to a game or attended for a while can try out a game on hopefully a balmy summer eve (Sat July 30th) and maybe be tempted to come back. I hear those of you who have a season ticket or are a regular fan and want to pay asking what do I do? Well give it to a friend or relative and bring them with you to the game!!

So for £25 quid (or £22.50 - if you arrange a table of 10) this event offers superb value for money with all food and entertainment included in the price!!!

Thanks for your interest, it`s on a sticky further up the page . It would be especialy nice to see some members of the messageboard there . If the post doesn`t answer your queeries message me or re-post . Cheers.
AS an aside I think it`s a superb idea re` the Tolouse tickets and although I have a season ticket I will not be wasting mine this is a perfect oportunity to get someone else interested in coming along to a game . We need to start building those crowds up .

is there a deadline on booking tickets? if so when is it?

i may need time to drum up interest from people who dont know

Like I told Chris it is likely that as usual I will be on baby duty that night so sadly will probably not be able to attend but I will try get people in our circle of friends to go starting with my Dad and brother (they have no excuse). It looks like a fantastic night so people who choose not to go more fool them.

You have plenty of time I would say up to 5/6 days before the do I would think . Thanks for your interest .

Anyone Interested in booking, wanting more info or anything at all just PM me your contact details and I'll give you a ring. Alternatively you can have my mobile if you prefer and contact me when it suits. I'd say we need the event paid for by Monday 27th June so we can inform Bowers Mill regarding numbers and we can plan the tables.

Remember it's not a rugby themed evening so bring friends, family or work colleagues along!!

I would also say it`s ideal if you are having a small celebration like a birthday / anniversary that sort of thing as the price is only around what you would pay at a restaurant plus you have all that super entertainment thrown in.

Come on Guys - Please support this event!! - We are having a trust board meeting tonight to talk about numbers and need an idea of who is wanting to attend.
