Announced in today's Courier, no real surprise. Finding it hard to recover from injury and can't train.
Father time has caught up with him.

Holly, Thanks for the good times you gave Fax and enjoy your retirement ( from rugby anyway ).

he tried but it was a season too far. happy retirement to a player that fax fans have loved and hated.

Also to kit man Cov who leaves his long time employment today, taking redundancy & finishing 11 months early, great bloke. Looked after me when I was a lad playing at Thrum Hall & always chatty & pleasant when I see him around.

I thought he should have gone at the end of last season to be honest, title winning side, who knows when we will do that again, cant put a certain bet on it being this season, go out on a high,

i dont blame him for wanting to keep going, when something has been part of your life for som long its hard to let go. but this is for the best. is he staying with the club in some role?
havent had time to get the paper today yet
