Well thats 3 wins on the trot and now just outside the top 6. After that wonderful victory at Leigh last week it was always going to be difficult to follow that but as Jim Gannon, who was the guest player in the bar, said it showed how far we have got on. Earlier in the season we might not have come back in the the last quarter. He said how well Hunslet played and showed some good rugby. He always considered himself as a Halifax lad and was glad he had the oppurtunity to come back to play here in his last season before going back to Australia. Another adopted Yorkshire man!

The Hitman award sponsored by the Halifax RLFC Players Association went to Bob Beswick for his overal performance. It was a real team effort last night as everybody played their part.
Golden Gamble winner was no 6597 with £172.
Next week sees our Northern Rail semi final at Featherstone on Thursday June 16th with a 7.30 Ko and for the 3rd week running live on Sky. We are running our usual coaches which leave the Shay ay at 6.00pm. Cost is £9 adults and juniors with an adult £5. To book phone Neil on 07714488080.The coaches will be in the secure parking behind the posts with the same arrangements for the league game. Those travelling by car can also use this secure parking and tell the steward when entering the car park. I will also be at the entrance to assist.
The full message received from Featherstone is:-
"Featherstone Rovers look forward to welcoming all Halifax fans for the biggest game of the season so far. We will once again be offering secure parking arrangements for travelling supporters who wish to use them. If you wish to use these please inform the steward when entering the car park and you will be directed to the "away" supporters area. These arrangements are not compulsory but just an option open to travelling supporters"

"SECURE PARKING" that's a joke,since when has an oopen field that anyone can walk their dog around been secure?We were told last time that the steward would be by the gate all the time and then watched him move from the gate after 20 mins of first half.We complained and was told that the stewards didn't know anything about watching the Fax cars,yet it was one of the stewards who told us and two other sets of Fax fans that he would be watching the cars.We drove out of the ground after the final hooter,no steward in sight and turned left out of P O Road as we always do despite supposedly having to turn right to return to motorway!

I dont want to start arguments with the fax fans but the club did someting different to make you feel safe at the match as there was all sorts of things been said on this forum about how bad we were and that you didnt feel safe. This arrangement was optional for your supports and there was fax fans that i spoke to that had parked where they said they had always parked and sat in the Family stand when the match was on. I believe the main complaint was was bad language by a minority of fans which the club is addressing although sky TV doesnt lie (Last nights match)so i hope there is alot more off you travelling this time to make for a good night and we all witness a good game of rugby and do the NRC credit

I think there was some bad communication from the Fev Club to the Stewards, we had some jobsworth telling us we HAD to walk around the ground to the dedicated gate, even though once inside we could go where we pleased.
