What a disappointment yesterday after the excitement of the golden point win to reach the Northern Rail Final. All is not lost, we can still just creep into the playoffs.Sean Penkywicz was an easy winner in the Southdale Lounge Player of the Season and gets 3 points to put him in overall lead with 13 points. 2nd was Jim Gannon with 2 points and 3rd Bob Beswick with 1 point. Makali Aizue now drops to overall 2nd with 11 points and Danny Jones and Paul White remain joint 3rd with 8 points.
The winner of the £20 voucher in Club 1873 was number 142, Michael Elkin and the £15 voucher went to number 135 Alan Bray.
The winner of the Hitman award sponsored by Halifax RLFC players Association was Rob Worrincy. A change for a winger to be in contention but made some significant tackles. Both Paul Smith and Ben Black made some crucial tackles.
The winner of the half time Golden Gamble draw was number 6337 for £216.
