This is the major benefit of franchising, the ability to invest in your own wood - HKR led the way and the Chemics will take it to a new level. Even Fax had a bash in the championship

Well done to them, although it does help when you have a guy who bankrolls it, thats what Widnes fans sem to forget when having a go at us and other clubs we just cannot afford it.

Yes were going into Super League with every player aged 18 and from Widnes. Get a grip Haighy you big yorkshire tart. Your pack needs to be big and strong and thats what were assembling.

Already got 4,000 stronghold members signed up (thats 4,000 season ticket holders for next year) and the seasons miles away and the numbers will carry on increasing. The goal is to reach 7,000 members and we'll be able to spend the full cap year after year without relying on Mr Stobarts.

Most interesting thing about this is that he isn't allowed to sign for Widnes until he has played for W1gan

Im not going to dig out news articles but i can remember at least one aussie that denied all knowledge and the deal fell through after Leigh stated he signed.

Not a clue what you are on about , but I do know we were in discussions with Thurston a few years back
