If its the same interview i have watched from loverugbyleague.com then he never really answers the question why?

Also we need to know what these promises are that have been made so we can keep track of them so the goalposts arnt moved again. It is also clear from this that it is now impossible for any Championship team in the heartlands to gain admission to SL. Today shows it will be an imposibility for any team in out league to have a better application than a team in SL given the resources they have to work with. Expect them to up the standards we need to achieve in the coming months.

My huge problem with this is that Wakefield made promises last time round that haven't materialised - ie Financial stability - ooops, new ground - hmmm. I don't give a stuff what they can do now going forward, they should have been booted out on the previous three years for failing to meet the terms of the original licence. Widnes were excluded last time on the basis of what had happened in the past year, rather than the bid going forward and the same should have happened to Wakefield. It's this constant changing of the goal posts that really annoys the fans. Lewis has zero credibility and must carry the can for this and the failure of expansion into Wales. He has to go, but I don't think he will.

Lewis doesn't have a clue what is happening. He is rarely at red hall - he is just wood's spokesperson, and a foot in the door for sport England funding.
