"But Harris spoke of his optimism over the club's future, which is likely to be in the Championship, after meeting with Rugby Football League chief executive Nigel Wood"
So, do we want them back in the Championships? Do "The Championships" have any say in the matter? We should at least insist that, this time, they play to the same rules as everyone else i.e. No special dispensations, no parachute payments, no RFL sponsorship/support and no use of illegal immigrant players.

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done But he with a chuckle replied That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

I'd say they go into Championship 1 , directly funded by the RFL for 3 years , but unable to be promoted until all ' extra ' funding stops , and they are able to operate the same as other Championship 1 clubs , 1 quota spot , but with 3 extra DR places , dropping down by 1 each year
Do we want them ? , yes we do , we need more clubs and they have a fan base at the moment , it is an opportunity for the RFL to actually do ' Expansion ' the right way

So in 3 years time they will be the ones to be going back into SL......i can already see it coming. No traveling fans and i certainly wont be going to North wales to watch our away games thats for sure.

I'd also stipulate that they stay in North Wales, stay away from the South and the South Wales Scorpions Area,
If they come back down it has to be on the same rules, and run as a sustainable business with a playing budget reflected by that of what crowds they can attract, they're only getting around 2000 home fans now, i'd expect to see that half or fall further.
RFl cannot give em parachute payment as they owe enough already and did not apply for licence so why give parachute payment. should be run on same rules as rest of clubs in championship
A few months back Rimmer said whoever dropped down from Super League would get a parachute payment and increased cap for the year but that was when they were expecting it to be Wakefield. He also went on to say how things were going so well at Crusaders , one of the sucsess stories. I too will not travel down to Wales either and I don`t think they should be treated any more special than any other club as they chose to withdraw their bid.
I would welcome them back under the following condition:
1. From the payment Parachute they pay ALL the pension money owed to former players and officials. Its not right these guys should not be payed up in full what they are owed. 2. That 10 players out of 17 on match day must be Welsh born or Welsh Heritage. 3. They are allowed a maximum 3 Overseas players as a development team(Same goes for Gateshead and Skolars) 4. That they play out of Wrexham and are totally independant from South Wales Scorpions 5. That they have to meet the same criteria for SL as the rest of the Championship clubs 6. That they receive 100,000 a year from the RFL, but that money is to be spent only on a Development Programme and running an Academy in the U18 and U20 League
IF they come and join us then the RFL will give them special treatment lets not kid ourselves other wise. 2 teams in Wales ain't going to work,BUT that wont stop the 3 wise monkeys at Red Hall from trying to kid themselves.

Like others have said, yes I would like them, as long as they're equal.
The problem is, no matter how much the RFL promise (if they did), the Crusaders would always have the upper hand in Franchise applications and so on...
