No, unfortunately I switched channels to watch Leeds United's opener at Southampton !!!

I tend to feel that Lewis, Rimmer & big Nige are all telling porkies, so what's new and why do we bother ?

What's new = nothing.

When Lewis mentioned Halifax is was to point out that Fax were wrong to say that the RFL had not followed the process of their own license system.

That they had held a meeting with Fax on Tuesday but he had not attended, obviously we are not important enough for his higness to spare his time.

That Super League would likely reduce the number of clubs to 12 from 14 rather than increase due to the lack of quality players available to make it competative and attrative to watch.

The Championship is dead as far as progress is concerned unless clubs can secure a millionare backer.

He was uncomfortable to say the least.

Still though days go by and the Fax board still havnt published the RFL panels findings. Its time to let people make up their own minds with some hard evidence otherwise people are going to look kind of stupid. Its time to prove to people that our application wasnt as badly put together as some people are making out.

The thing is though GFB is that you , I , or anybody reasonable could put together a comprehensive SL application in little more than a Few pages , 10 at most

So is this supposed criticism based on the way the application was done ? Or on the content of the application ?

It is the content that is the important bit , not how it is worded , not how many pretty pictures of ' virtual stadiums ' or even old stadiums with ' virtual temporary stands '

Not how many pages of bull crap giving fanciful business plans

Fax handed their application to the RFL back in march , if it wasn't up to scratch then surely the RFL should have in private told your BOD , and either asked them to withdraw it , or re submit another

Or are they suggesting they only looked at it on last Tuesday morning after the Crusaders withdrawal ?

Funnily enough my last point could be closer to the truth than we think

In fact was not your application handed in at the start of the year , along with Barrows and Widnes ? , meaning the RFL have had 6 months to ask you to re submit or withdraw ?

Or as I said , was it that you were never in the running anyway , no matter what your application was like , but they just wanted you there to make it look good

To be fair Lewis has done OK with the RFL but since around 8 he has been part time as he is Chairman of Sport England and also works for the FA Premiership etc. So I dont expect him to have the time to talk to us or do much. He is more just a Figure head. I do believe he just supports the RFL decisions. He also has to toe the line that the RFL have created under Wood or else it looks bad. Although I am no great fan of him he is not the first person I would want to see go.

Its that tool Nigel Wood who has created a Them (SL) and us. He is clueless. Its his idea for the SL clubs to get free tickets in the cup robbing Championship clubs from a big pay out. It this idiot that has seen the Championship have one points system yet the SL have another. It this idiot that loaned 700,000 quid to a club that never had a proper business plan. Wood has known and been involved at Crusaders since 2009. He promised and sent a letter out promising the players ,who have not received a penny of their promised Pension fund, that they would be payed out. So far nothing has happened. He lied to the Crusaders players, The guy is on a massive 200,000 quid a year wage for doing jack. He should be the first man to go.

Your right we were never in the runing as we are just being used to get the teams they want in get their act together.
Plus what on earth is the point of Fax publishing theirs no matter how good or bad unless everyone else does the same so you can measure it.
