Just read on Twitter

Tweets from @RichdelaRiviere, who has been on the ball with the situation at Barrow, probably not the most popular chap with some people up that way as well,

-Reliably informed that the lid is going to be blown off the barrow raiders saga by the weekend. More salary cap cheating.

-Possible punishment includes relegation to C1. Have heard most players will leave. Also heard the chairman will be leaving.

-I've been told this by more than more than one reliable source. There's definitely something happening anyway, and possibly tomorrow...

Looks like there may well be an imminent announcement.

We havn't got a coach or Director of football to do any recruiting so by the time our coach is on board these people will have been snapped up by well organised clubs.

Negotiations are on going with whom the new coach would like to keep from what i can tell and certain players have already been told to look for new clubs.

In related news, it seems Jamie Thackeray has signed for Limoux, think they (barrow) are in a similar situation whereby theres not many (if any) players under contract for next season. Hope we dont start losing players once the season is over to France. I can see the attraction from their perspective, get playing and earning again fairly quickly, rather than wait til Febuary

Who have you been told this by ?. I arn't knocking the information just wonder how reliable it is.

Personally i would not be telling any player that he needs to look for another club when they are still in the playoffs. It gives them no incentive to pout their hearts on the line. I would be saying the coach is watching and will make his decision after the playoffs, Get yourselves out their and prove to them why you want to stay with FAX !!

It's not uncommon at this time of year as clubs have to inform the RFL of a possible retained list and a possible non retained list, this would have been done at all clubs before the anti-tampering deadline.
