For which Sparrow and Leigh have been reprimanded for (pts deduction), does this mean they are currently operating outside the cap with the punishment made to try and level the competition until the salaries addressed in 2012?

Or is it a result of previous seasons breaches and the RFL comfortable that current salary level within limit?

A bit off the pace on this subject but what i'm getting at is - Could we and have we (NRC Final) faced a Leigh team with a payroll bill exceeding salary cap?

No, the Leigh SC breach was last season and was only a 'technical' breach so was a 'mistake'... unlike Barrow where it appears to have been deliberate... hence the larger deduction.

Leigh's error was in not including income generated by the LSV in their SC submissions. If they had there wouldn't have been a problem. Barrow on the other hand have deliberately tried to cheat the system (allegedly!)

We broke the SC last season , but as the RFL are that bad at checking we only got told mid season , however this year our budget was dramatically reduced , however the loss of our benefactor mid season could potentially cause us a problem , but we are committed to contracts , so who knows

It really is a problem , with no obvious solution
