Ashall might very well be a better replacement for Beswick than most of us speccies ever wished for. He was awesome with & without the ball when we were in possession & whacked a bit in defence at loose forward, then when Penky went off he slotted in & directed comfortably at dummy half, first hit out I appreciate, but looking interesting.
Richard Mervill who I chat to occassionally played with him in the Hornets side last season & he reckons he'll make the step up in class comfortably.
