Help! Ground Covers : Sat Jan 28, 2012 8:56 am  

Aftyer todays FC Halifax Town game the ground covers will be going down to protect the ground. The club are looking for volunteers to help the groundsmento put the covers in place.
If anyone is willing to lend a hand make sure you bring a pair of gloves as the covers are heavy and will be very cold. We'll meet at the club shop about 5pm

FOR GET THAT LAST POST, THE GROUNDS MEN ARE NOW TAKING COVERS OFF AND HELP IS NOW WANTED AGAIN AT 5PM, TO PUT THEM BACK ON,,,,WE ARE NOW COVERING THE WHOLE PITCH AND NEED AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE,THE MORE WE GET THE QUICKER IT WILL BE ,AND WE DONT WANT THE CLUB LOSING GOOD MONEY TO THE WEATHER,,,,,

It now says on club website meet at 4:45pm to put covers on.

Remember the days when Bally used to co-habit with Gibbo & the Halifax match programme's featured their gossip updates ?
One particular tale was of one of them ( G'day mate ) washing his jeans with his mobile 'phone still in the jeans pocket ha ha ha.
