Leigh v Avignon – 3pm KO
Carcassone v Sheffield – TBC KO

Sunday 3rd June
Featherstone v Pia – 3pm KO

Please note that Premier Sports will be broadcasting the Leigh v Avignon and Featherstone v Pia fixtures.

Who will actually go see these matches? Will the players be that bothered, just another chance to get injured in a meaningless game!

Obviously we'd heard rumours and proposed dates, I looked at flights a few months ago and they were a small fortune so I ruled it out.

Now we have some solid opposition and dates, I had a look again and i've booked my flights...only because they were cheap though.

I guess another way of looking at it is that there's no pressure so you might see some free flowing expansive rugby...and the weather should be nice!

It is essentially pointless but we've booked some flights.

Should be a good jolly up if nothing else, 2 trips to the South of France to watch the Eagles in the space of 5 weeks

should be a stroll for all the english clubs as most of the overseas players at the french clubs will be absent so the 'competition' will be pretty meaningless except for a bit of bonding for the teams something all the Championship coaches enjoyed when visiting Toulouse none more so than both Karl Harrison and Mark Aston

according to a Toulouse spokesman a couple of days ago the game against Fax will go ahead on saturday 2nd june at Les Minimes though there is speculation both games will be held at the same venue - nothing has ben decided yet on the french side of the channel.

Looked at flights and they are too expensive, not worth going for a glorified friendly.

yer and petrol to Bournemouth and back what £90?
A two night stop over or even one night plus its very expensive drinking over there aint worth the effort as I say for a Friendly.
