"The man from Mytholmroyd" and "The Jehovah's Widnes" : Sat Apr 28, 2012 6:25 pm
Anyone reading League Weekly or League Express recently will have learned that I have now written almost half of my next novel. It will be set in the 2002 and 2003 seasons and will follow on from where my fourth novel 'One Autumn' ends ten years earlier. It does not yet have a title although some of the chapters do, including The Man from Mytholmroyd, The Jehovah's Widnes, The Yorkshireman's Party and A Day on the M62.
Like the others I have written, it will again be set against a strong Rugby League background.
I am always on the lookout for any good tales or story lines to include and hope that I might get a few ideas this coming Saturday (May 5th) when I will be in WH Smith from 10.30 onwards signing copies of 'One Autumn' and in good time for a Father's Day present, if he likes to read that sort of thing.
