They are typical of what is wrong with our sport, passing the buck by making out they did not know how bad it was and that it is the big bad HMRC (indirectly us as we are all taxpayers by the way) who are forcing their hand, this is money they should have paid over numerous years so they have every right to ask them to pay - I pay my tax due EVERY MONTH! Just take the pain Bradford, you will come out of this at the other side, they seem reluctant to take the hit, is it the points deduction or their pride why they won't? Other clubs have done it, get on with it as no investor will put £1 million in to just clear the debts, not in RL anyway. |
