special mention to Bowman for the very brave tackle on their prop plus saving a try in the next tackle. His his try scoring rate for minutes on the field this season is making him hard to ignore.

I would plum for Manning or Divorty at loose forward for the cup final slot against Fev on current form. Ashall seems to be running into traffic a bit too much lately rather than the gap. ie when it should have come out for Patterson in the first half.

Very pleased on the Luke ambler signing. The packs starting to take shape for next year and its pretty big!! :

Sam was his usual powerful self but though Pato deserves a mention due to his strong D and took his try well. That knock on wasn't a knock on either.

3 = Ryan Fieldhouse (worth the entrance money for one of his tries never mind 4)
2 = Sam Barlow (looked dangerous every time he ran at their line)
1 = Adam Robinson (ran and ran at them all day making good yards)

2 - Adam (the Lions couldn't put him down)
1 - Anthony B (for THAT tackle!)

Dane had a great game as well, but Sam (who had a good game) needs to learn that offloads are great - but they need to be directed towards a specific player, rather than just lobbed backwards!

Special mention for Penky for ultra quick thinking to pinch the ball back and put Pato through!!

Cant agree here Mate! I think the general idea is to support a player who everyone clearly knows has the ability to off load the ball almost at will. You cant critisize Barlow for being blessed with ball handling ability, its the other players who should be waiting on his shoulder IMO. Remember this lad is gonna get smashed everytime for being able to do this, its maybe Thaks, Penky, Handforth, Ryan etc who should be monitoring this.

2pts - Barlow - great runs
1pt - Robinson - was struggling with this one, but between him and Manning - he ran great yards and to my memory did the most breaks from a tackle.
