Fev are obviously favourites in this one. However, just over three weeks ago, Leigh were 22 16 down against Fev and pressing near their line with two minutes to go. The Batley quarter final game that we won 32 12 just five days before took a hell of a lot out of us, but we still ran them very close. You will have had a much easier, more low key game. Now despite Leigh playing you three times this year and beating you in each one, I still think you are similar in standard. If you can keep in the game like we did, in a final you have a good chance with a big crowd behind you, the underdog tag spurring you on and the adrenaline pumping. If you are sub standard like we were at POR, then obviously you will be absolutely thrashed, as Fev are a good side and when they sense you are vulnerable, are the best in this league at ruthlessly exploiting your weaknesses. The neutral venue will obviously be better for you than playing at POR. IMO, a narrow win is within your capabilties, if you are on your game. The comments Harrison made post-match at the Shay, whether we agree or disagree with them, will also not have done you any harm IMO. Can you attack with more flair, like you did under Calland and defend much tighter than you did against Swinton? I am sure you will in a final. Should be a cracker for the neutral.
