If Sheffield had 500 fans walk out they would have to do it in stages, it would take them at least 10 home games to get them sort of numbers.

Oh the irony of that piece of journalistic poop !!!
Part of the deal for the longevity of SL ( E ) which the "E" sort of represents the French lot !!!! means that we have to have a French referee within our top tier, blue riband division's full time ranks and the one we're lumbered with is probably consitently the worst and has been for several years, his proposed support and subsequent replacement Monsieur Drizza didn't last very long building up his air miles in the Championship either, good grief this lot over the channel are even accusing team GB at the olympics of having dodgy tyres on the cyclist's bikes, tyre's that apparently are manufactured in France and also wiped their garlic breathed asses at their very own tour de France.

They should charge their fans for leaving the stadium before the end of the game, that way at least they'd generate some form of gate receipts instead of the freebies they hand out like samples at a local vineyard.

Quite ironic really as, not so many years ago, we had to start insisting on having a neutral referee whenever GB played France as, whenever we had a French ref he was so unashamedly biased the game became a joke.

I remember years ago being on a Training Course near Heidelberg along with 2 germans, 2 Dutch and a Frenchman. During the course of the conversations someone asked the Frenchman (not me, honestly) why the French could be so anti-British to which he replied that a lot of the older end still blamed us for allowing Germany to occupy France. The Dutch, on the other hand, said that they were very pro-British as we liberated their country from the Germans (which we also did with France, along with the other Allied Nations.)
