Fieldhouse 6/10 up and down performance
White 7/10 cracking try
Pats 7/10 very harsh call on ball stealing/loose carry decision which swung the game
Tyer 7/10 another harsh call on penalty on our line when they knocked on.
Warrior 9/10 really pleased with his ball retention and hard yards under pressure
Thacks 6/10
Handf 5/10 lost the plot unfortunately....game plan and control on attacking their line went missing.
Tonks 8/10 good battle with their wigan loanee prop
Penky 7/10
Hesk 6/10
Heaton 8/10 good performance as stand in 2nd row
Manning 9/10 just never stopped
Ambler 7/10

Barlow 8/10
Ashall 6/10 trying to go at people rather than going for gaps,missed tackles(ridyard)and penalties
Casey 7/10 fair play he did make a difference coming on late on could have sneaked it for us.
Maliki 8/10 ran hard

1st Manning
2nd Warrior
3rd Barlow

Ref Tim Roby who I have some regard for, had a bad day at the office. Constant second/3rd grab to hold down, markers not square all over the place, forward passes(us and them) 500 supporters saw their knock on 50yds away!!

Put Manning on a roving commission marking Ridyard and we might have their measure next time. Lots of chances that we should have taken to win last night. But still confident we can have them next time.

3 = Worrincey. Had no room to work those couple of tries but somehow managed to nail 'em, very industrious.

2 = Heaton. Best game he's had for us, not a bad 2nd row stint for a F/B, centre, winger, in only his second game back from injury !!!

1 = Casey. Hit some lovely gaps with well timed runs, best he's played for us yet.

Worthy mentions for Tonks, cracking 20mins after HT, Best stint by any of our props in that spell.
Barlow, just WOW that first few busts after coming on, he appears to lift the team & the crowd.
Tiger when he opened them up in the first half by simply taking the line on, more of it please.
Thacks, tried hard to get on the outside shoulder of their line & some decent distribution.

Colin, quite right, one in particular, but, speaking to some "supporters" today, Handforth didn't perform, only a few weeks again, Thaks was a one trick pony. Do you sometimes think people don't understand the game?
One critisism of Tonks, yesterday he stood too close to the man delivering the ball, he needs to take it whilst running and yesterday at times he was standing still when he received the ball.
But hey, who am I to know?
