This weekend, being the last round of the regular season is an important one in where each team finishes in the top 6, for the play offs.

Featherstone or Leigh could finish first or second (unlikely that Leigh will take top, but still mathmatically possible), Fax or Batley can finish 3rd, securing a home tie in the play offs.

So given these possibilities which game is Premier Sports showing???? None!!!!!

...and they are increasing the annual subscription by £15 for next year as well.

Not a large amount but it's almost a 20% increase.

The only live Championship games should be the NRC final and the GF s

If the clubs decided to work together they could put together a Highlights/review/preview , magazine type show for a couple of grand a round , broadcast initially on the Internet , but once ' polished ' quite possibly something either a sattelite or FTA channel would be interested in , leaving money to be made form sponsorship , a la Irn Bru for SL on SKY

It would not surprise me if the RFL were in some way actually paying PS to show the matches , just to attempt to attach some ' credibility ' to the competition , to make it more ' Vibrant , worth winning in its own right ' , they love the term ' Broadcast partner '

All the games ,except the Swinton/Leigh, are kicking off at 3 on sunday,that the way it should be for last match then no team has the advantage of knowing what they have to do to secure the finishing position they want,perhaps that would explain why no game on Premier

Purely by chance , there are only 2 matches of real significance , they could have picked any of the other 8 , some other reason than that me thinks

If that's the way it should be then Leigh should also be kicking off at 3pm on Sunday.
