Just read that Handforth out for Sunday along with Bowman.Now we shall see how much of an impact these two really do make in games-when they are no longer playing!(re previous posts) Bet Blacky can't wait to show us that Batley got the better deal!
Plus side is Divvo and Robinson could make an appearance.

Nay worries, Penky at 7 and Thacks at 6 with Ashall filling in at 9 and Sam Barlow/Divorty (if fit) in at 13?

Or maybe give Casey a blast at 7?

There is only 2 guarentees i will give for this final game of the normal season, TheLoveplayingupahill.comers will come to the shay with a inferiority complex as usual, moan about everything Halifax, price of food, price of drinks, Karl Harrison, all the money we have apparently been offering everyone to move from there and that we think we are the Dogs bollox (excuse the pun) yada yada yada.

Secondly there will be a bitt of Biff on the field which will have been instigated by Sam or Rettie.

Whitey could play at 7 as well as the above.
He has played there before at other clubs which would allow Rettie back in on the wing.
Not likely for Paul but it is an option.

Would love for Whitey to be given a shot at half back. Would give us a fair bit of pace at HB.

Think Penky is too valuable at hooker off the bench for Ashall. Callum at 13 - thought he made some decent breaks there in the Leigh game.

It's a toss up between Ned & Cov for the vacant half back spot.

Word has it that Rhino has been impressed with them off the bench this season then back on the bench, then off it again.......


Dave Flem would have been in the running but he apparently acts as Rhino's matchday punchbag/chinese burns receiver unless things are going to plan on the field of play. Word has it from a club source that Flem has snapped 32 HB pencils during matches this season on the occassion of knock-ons from receiving the ball from a kick off, kicking out on the full, getting penalised while in possession at play the ball, getting caught in possession on the last tackle and other mis-demeanors by the Halifax players as he jots them down on the stats sheets while big Karl snarls and mutters and grabs Flem by his fleshy thigh or upper arm in anger !

I would play white at standoff and keep every one else in normal positions.need to win this one
