Looking over 2012 Fev have won the league leaders shield got to the NRC final lost and got to the Grand Final and lost. Our U23 won their final The women's team won there final and as a club we are moving forward at a very fast rate off the field + the work has started on the ground all in all I think we have had an excellent season but obviously could have been better

As a rival club and one that is also at the top end of the championship and in my opinion a club that could win the league NRC and grand final how do you think your season went and for you to say that next season will be better what would you like to see your club improve on apart from winning everything or would you expect that aswell

I think the answers have been said before but personally didnt expect to win any trophy this year with so many changes. The Rail Cup win was a big plus. The club is in a stable position and is going OK although I do feel certain areas certainly need to be improved on and I have contacted people at the club and highlighted areas which for me let us down or could be better. I dont feel the need to highlight them here to be honest though I have done in the past which maybe was wrong. I feel the club is at a crossroads right now. Do we keep going forward and push on to a place in Sl or be content to stay where we are in the Championship. Personally I dont see us in SL for various reasons and dont think we are ready for such a move. But thats my opinion.
I have been disappointed generally by Fax out on the field. Very forward orientated and boring and often clueless at times relying too much on individual brilliance to win games. Poor defence has once again been an area we have and I had hoped KH would sort that. I dont rate a number of players KH brought to the club, but others have impressed and others like Robinson and Heaton have done much better than I expected to be honest.
Next seasons squad, so far disappoints me. I have given players the season to impress in some way. Players such as Reittie, Handforth, Thackray have been a let down and I cant see them improving in 2013. We have lost 2 big players in Gannon and Penky and I feel sad that White has gone and Reittie retained. Reittie is not a winger for me and his try scoring record is poor. Our new signings are OK but not spectacular. Tonks was average but to be fair was out injured for so long. Bracek well is average at best and should be not described as a star signing. He will be a squad player at best. My fears is we will just become a forward based team where we bash through instead of being creative and the likes of Rob Worrincy will be wasted on the wing. I dont right now see us being able to reach a Final next year with the current team, but maybe that view will change in a month or so.

Christ Si don't be negative about next seasons squad or how we played last year!! You'll be about as popular as a full price Bradford Bulls season ticket!! Other opinions aren't allowed on here!!

If people dont like what I put fair enough. I dont agree with what others put at times. I speak what I feel and if people dont like that then thats their problem. A couple of signings could change things however for next season, but I still intend to sponsor a player and put money behind the club if I can.

First of all congrats to JTfev and your boys for being the most consistent side in the league for the last few seasons.Your cup win v Cas and performance v Wigan did the Championship proud (just a pity about that Dave Singer incident-but lets not go there)
To be honest I knew that KH would bring us forward dominated rugby having watched his style of play as a player, coach of Salford and more recently Batley. So no surprise there I'm afraid. Our goal line d is poor and we really do need to work on that and defensive line speed. Quality 9 and 6 and we will be somewhere there. Keep the faith.Still early days yet.

Nice to see the constructive responses lets hope we get some more Some may wonder why I have asked on the fax forum but I did as you won the NRC this year Looking at it from another angle do we as fans get blinkered and don't realise how lucky we have been this season and expect two much from our clubs at times

much better than expected really - early season form was better than expected and then injuries took hold and we ran out of bodies - looking forward already to next season!

nice to see the semi-professional clubs all doing such a good job in the league that the RFL chooses to forget!
