It is rather difficult John, the young man i introduced you to yesterday ( my lad ) is skipper of their 1st team and he usually tells me when he's just played, it goes something like this "we won today dad for college"....
Why didn't you tell me you had a game ? i usually ask " I thought you'd be at work though " is usually his reply...
Primarily they're wednesday afternoon fixtures & they have used Siddal's ground for home games. Not surprisingly they recently got stooled using the Shay, no surprises there considering our climate.
To be fair, they don't always know if the opposition will turn up but they seem to have a very decent side this season, he tells me that it'll be between Calderdale & Wakey for the main honours this year but Wakey have apparently been top dogs for a few years recently. I'll try & do the honourable thing & get the info on here prior to the matches if i can pin the little git down in future.
