would have been good to see them two at fax though. but we nearly signed so many others then too.

Glad we didnt sgn him hes been poop.

Just thinking about some of the others we were linked with. Trevor "The Axe" Gilmeister, Wendal Sailor, Tim Brasher, then its well known we nearlt signed Harris and Scuthorpe must be loads more.

One that got away.
I still say Chris Joynt, I remember standing in front of the Taverners and hearing he had decided to go to St Helens and then someone saying "yes but we've got Brendan Hill" £104,000 if I remember correctly, that was £103.999.99 too much.

You better watch the college games looking over your shoulder mate, big Bren's lad has been impressing that much I hear he's been invited to train with the 18's at Fax. This could all be off-season rumour & I might be receiving duff info again.

Yes he has signed and he had a good game yesterday. as I said on the other topic, I had a good chat with Brendan at the college game, blimey he's a big lad.
