hypothetical question.
a SL team registers their whole squad with a championship team. a player gets sent off and gets two game ban. the championship team plays thursday and his SL team sunday. is that the two game ban done?

I would suggest any bans have to be served in the competition they were ' Earned ' in

I think that you can't count matches played in the same 'weekend', ie. a player could n't count an U21(or whatever the hell it is these days) and a first team game played Thurs/Sun.

I thought 'loaning' players to get round bans had been outlawed following Leeds loaning Barry Mac(?) to Bramley to get a few games chalked off on a big ban he'd received.

But who knows what will happen in such a situation.

Not so. Players have used A team games and internationals before now.

The basic rule is that it's first team games of the club you're registered with. They will let you use internationals if you're eligible and were in the squad and the A team game option probably vanished with the A team.

Loan players count the games of the club to which they're loaned. DR players - interesting one - I reckon, without looking it up - that it'll be games of the senior club because that's their main registration.

Can't play for anyone. You can't even be on the bench as a water carrier or runner.
