I know there are a lot of idiots who do neither club any favours but even though its the wrong shaped ball I'm still a proud Halifax lad!! So well done to Town for just winning their final 1-0 and gaining promotion to the Conf Premier. In my opinion 2 successful clubs can only be good for our town!!

Seconded. I have never much taken to round ball game but always follow Town , from a respectful distance. Congratulations. Onwards and upwards Shaymen.

AYE, I always look ot for Town's results & still have a soft spot for them. I've been to a handful of games over the last couple of seasons & to maintain the attendances they have at such a low level in the system is fantastic in my opinion.
Good luck to them, I hear they'll have to go full time to compete in the conference.

They have already said they will stay part time. The league is a completely different beast to the one left 5 or so years ago. It will be hard to stay in the league as a part time club but its a sensible decision if the money isnt there to sustain full-time status.

I was wondering what they were going to do about that. Aren't most the teams in that league now mainly full time though? But it's still the sensible thing to do rather than stretch the budgets trying to pay a full time squad.
